Native Snacks is a new plant-based snacking brand who unearth naturally native snacking foods from around the world and bring them back for you to discover. For launch, we were commissioned to create a simple brand identity that would inspire and educate audiences to engage with Native’s first stop on its travels — India and Popped Lotus Seeds. Over time, the identity would need to flex to accommodate new locations spanning the length and breadth of their journey.
We were presented with an exciting challenge — carve a unique and authentic entry in the saturated and competitive snacking market. Founded on principles of natural curiosity, mindfulness and discovery, we drew inspiration from the Indian landscape and its majestic colours, tones, and textures. Developing a strategy which focusses on shouting about all the honest hard work that goes into creating the little beauties.
We delivered the brand for launch across both print and digital platforms, advising and guiding every step of the way. We created visuals that hero and celebrate naturally native snacking foods. It was important that the visuals felt authentic, and honest. Awesome natural snacks speaking for themselves. This is a brand with a hunger to feed its audience discovery and has found its way on to the shelves of Sourced Market, As Nature Intended and Selfridge’s since launch.
